1: How come you´re not performing all of the guitars on your upcoming album? It´s your solo album!?
Johan Niemann, mostly known as a bass player, is an excellent guitarrist as well. I play some of the guitars to maintain my ideas, but by bringing in Johan, the album gets more interesting.

2: What about Mind´s Eye now that you´re going solo?
I´m no longer a member of Mind´s Eye, and it´s time to move on. My solo ambitions and House Of Shakira are keeping me busy.

3: Did your participation in the TV-show Fame Factory have any spin-off effects, and what do you think of those kind of programs?
Observing reality-TV production from the inside was really interesting for me, since I used to study media and journalism before. I´m a bit hesitant to those kind of shows since they exploit and use up talents in a very cynical way, but after the first audition I couldn't resist the temptation to see how far I could go... .

4: What´s with the title of the new album Novakation?
Well, I had no vacation the last few years - at least not mentally. Combined with my last name, it sort of has a cool vibe to it...like Californication or something...

5: What's your favourite color?
Blue.

6: Why can´t you just give me a copy your new album on a CD-R? Or maybe I´ll download it?
Well, the album demanded about twelve months of hard work. That effort is now available in a small packet for about 15 bucks. I think that´s a fair price considering all the work behind it. If you don´t like it, I´ll personally give you your money back - and a beer.

7: Will there be a third Andreas Novak-album?
Most likely. I have ideas for 6 new songs already,but some of them might suit House of Shakira of course. That's where I'll be. Check latest news...
