Meanwhile, Andreas' solo album Novakation is still in the pipeline.

Those were Andreas' first words right after the gig.
-Now gimme a cold one, I gotta go see the other bands,
an exhausted Andreas yelled and disappeared into The Cave...
The night offered a variety of music:
Later on the new band MISTH
entered the stage with the ever so amazing Maria Rådsten on lead vocals,
followed by Christian Liljegren and his Audiovision.
All three bands rocked their asses off, and House of Shakira will soon go on writing new material for the next album.
Meanwhile - as usual - Andreas has Novakation.
Good news travel fast, the word is already out... Highly acclaimed Swedish melodic rockers House Of Shakira got themselves a brand new lead vocalist: Andreas Novak.
-I am honored and proud as hell! I´ll eat my hat if this isn´t the right band for me!
I´ll be highly involved in the writing process of the next album and we already have ideas for six brand new songs.
The new line-up will make its live debut on April 24 at The Cave in Stockholm.
See you there!
Christmas is by far long gone, but it´s still stone cold winter in Sweden. Rumours say Andreas has gone mad, or maybe it's just his new song being taken literally. So here's a clip from another song of the upcoming album:
Also, while still working on the album, Andreas will soon be off to Switzerland for another interesting musical cooperation. More news to come.

Studio update:
Recordings of the upcoming Andreas Novak-album Novakation
will be completed anyday.
The 12 songs are more raw and direct than the ones on the previous album.
The CD also includes collaboration with the multi-talented Erik Mårtenson from Eclipse .
The track "Highway To Anywhere" written by Erik, is one of the albums highlights.

As a side project, Andreas is also proud to sing lead on two tracks of the british progressive rock project Aeon Zen. That album will be released on 1st of May. Check out their website for more info.

Hi there people! Nice to be back!
Andreas and Robert Säll - guitarist and songwriter genious from Work Of Art - teamed up today and wrote a brand new song for the upcoming NOVAK release. The song is will simply be called...well, there are two options right now. Time will tell. Or actually, Andreas will decide when Robert is on vacation... Lucky Rob that gets one.

Sorry 'bout the lack of updates, but finally we are back on track. Who knew the financial crisis would hold back a little project like this? Just slightly delayed, two tracks are almost done by now: A New Hope and Light Years. The amazing Johan Niemann is enhancing the tracks with his magic fingers, as heard on previous releases with Mind's Eye.
News will be presented here more frequently, and also some teasers of the upcoming album might show up here. For further information, you can always visit Angel Milk Records.

About time to go official. The UK based label Angelmilk Records is very pleased to announce the signing of Novak for a new studio album due for release in the first half of 2009. The debut Novak release Forever Endeavour was released via MTM Music in 2005 and was met with both critical and popular acclaim.
The Novak name was last seen on Volume 3 of the MelodicRock.com compilation series - a song called Said And Done. Andreas Novak was approached by Angelmilk Records with the plan to make a second album, and make it even better than the debut.
Andreas Novak says: "I'm really excited about this opportunity. This time we'll focus on making a more solid rock album, with lots of effort on good melodies instead of equilibristic achievements. You want surplus shredding? I'm sure you'll find it somewhere, but not on this album. We have a bunch of high quality rock songs in store, and anyone who's disappointed with the purchase will get a full refund from me personally ;-) We'll lock ourselves up in the studio now, and won't get out 'til February. Until then, Novakation."
"Very well, cykelställ" is a well known swedish expression which in this context could be taken as indication of that this site soon will be totally replaced by something new. Something new is also what lies ahead for Andreas Novak, as he recently decided to put his signature on a specific piece of paper. Concider this an inofficial hint of an official upcoming release. Until then: Novakation.

Andreas has participated on a new Tribute to KISS-release together with Mind's Eye. They proudly perform the song "The Oath" from the somewhat classic album "The Elder". The album is called "Lick it Up: A Millennium Tribute to KISS" and was released recently:

Andreas recorded backing vocals for an upcoming christmas album the other day. The CD contains 17 swedish artists. Andreas sings "ooh" - and also "aaaah" behind them on two tracks. It will be released in time for Christmas of course. Check out this link for more info: Julskivan

Andreas Novak has completed lead vocals for two new tracks. One is called "Art of an angel", written by Daniel Flores. It will be included on MTM ROCK Ballads Vol.11, to be released later 2006.
Secondly, lead vocals for an upcoming KISS-tribute album was successfully recorded. One of Andreas' favourite KISS songs, The Oath, will be included on the CD.
